After six miscarriages, Care fostered a five-year-old little girl, named Angie, whom she was finally able to adopt at eight years old. In 2008, Care discovered Hypnobirthing for the birth of her second daughter and it changed her life’s path. Her second daughter was born with severe special needs but it was her birth preparation that prepared her for such an unexpected postpartum time. Care began teaching Hypnobirthing in 2009 and founded the Birth Education Center in 2011. She is a Hypnotherapist, birth educator and a birth and postpartum doula. She specializes in fear release work, authentic communication and consciously connecting parents with their babies before they are born. It is her belief that babies can experience a “birth day” that is magical, loving, and gentle. When families take the time to resolve fears and advocate with their voice, birth can become a beautiful, positive experience.
