Strong. Confident. His. with Kim Dolan Leto
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
Is it possible to embrace being beautifully imperfect and thrive in who God created you to be? The answer is yes! But we need to do this... stop comparing.
Did you know that when we compare, we are either prideful or insecure, and neither of these is pleasing to God? It's time to see ourselves and others the way God does and start enjoying life!
In today’s episode, my guest Heather Creekmore and I invite you to join us as we open up about our struggles with comparison and how to overcome them. Together, we will learn why Paul teaches us in 2 Corinthians 10:12 that when we compare, we are unwise.
Start listening to overcome the trap of comparison and find confidence and contentment in Christ.
Heather Creekmore writes and speaks hope to thousands of women each week inspiring them to stop comparing and start living. She’s the author of four books including Compared to Who? a book that encourages women to uncover the spiritual root of body image issues and The Burden of Better, which offers women a journey into the depths of God's grace to find a way off the treadmill of constant comparison. In late 2023 Heather’s 40-Day Body Image Workbook: Hope for Christian Women Who’ve Tried Everything will be released followed by Aging Gratefully a devotional on aging for women in midlife that will be released in Spring of 2024. Heather has been featured on Fox News, Huff Post, Morning Dose, Church Leaders, For Every Mom, and dozens of other shows and podcasts. But she's best recognized for her appearance as a contestant on the Netflix hit show, Nailed It. Heather and her fighter-pilot-turned-pastor husband, Eric have four children and live in Austin, Texas.
