"I tell people with imposter syndrome, the truth is, it never goes away. But you learn how to deal with it almost like trauma. You learn how to deal with it and like meet the trauma or the imposter syndrome at the door."
Kiara Ruth is an Arkansas-born criminal justice major turned DEA agent hopeful, who experienced a whirlwind romance and moved to Raleigh, NC. She quickly found herself a wife and mother - but felt like she had lost her own identity. Despite feeling discouraged and constantly battling imposter syndrome, Kiara has pushed through and begun to prioritize her own needs. She now encourages others to meet their imposter syndrome head-on and to never forget that they are enough.
