I caught up with Samory I the morning after his Album Release party for "Strength." 7 Years after our first interview and months before the release of Black Gold, a lot has changed in Samory's life.
From his experience in the creation of Rory Stonelove's Black Gold, to his Collaboration with Winta James on the production of his new album Strength. I would say Samory I has evolved from a reggae singer to an artist and that his new Album should be a strong contender for next year's Grammys.
Listen to our conversation, along with some of his most recent tracks, and understand why the artist, Samory I, and his new album, "Strength," are what you should be listening to right now.
