Yesterday, we we’re talking about if companies should prioritize SEO in their marketing mix and we said, basically the answer is it depends. Early stage companies, it really depends what your business model is, B2B SaaS companies that have long sales cycles need lots of content. Think about SEO from day one, ecommerce companies that are impulse purchases, maybe you can rely on your performance marketing to figure out your product market fit. When you start getting in growth stage companies, the answer is yes. You probably should start thinking about how to lower your cost per acquisition and you should be relying on content marketing and SEO.
