Decisions taken by RTÉ demonstrated a "lack of rigorous financial controls", the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee has said. Today 21 recommendations from the committee were published relating to a series of controversies that have engulfed the national broadcaster since last year, including saying the “possibility” that figures relating to Ryan Tubridy’s salary being “deliberately misrepresented by RTÉ” cannot be discounted.
