Peadar Ó Guilín is an Irish novelist whose novel, The Call, is a new addition to the list of prescribed texts for Junior Cycle English for students presenting for examination in 2024, 2025, and 2026. The novel is a dystopian adventure exploring themes of courage, disability, love, resilience and societal expectations. This Arts in Junior Cycle podcast has been created with the JCT English team.
