Cindy Muchnick, author and mother of four (almost) grown children, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her parenting guidebook, The Parent Compass. She is not only an expert in the college admission process, but also a former private academic counselor for high school students. She now passionately shares her experience and insights through public speaking engagements to student, parent, school, and business groups.
Today’s conversation explores key topics from her guidebook, including how to truly appreciate your teen, becoming a better listener and asking the right questions, and how to help kids develop self-advocacy skills. Whether you’re currently a parent of teens, or you know the teen years are fast approaching for your little ones, this is a conversation filled with wisdom you won’t want to miss.
