This former TV presenter swapped the bright city lights for a quieter existence in Byron Bay, but that doesn’t mean her life is idyllic. Magdalena suffered from a little-known but widely experienced thing called postnatal depletion and it inspired her to get back to basics when it came to many things - but mostly food. She shares why our culture doesn’t give new mums the time and space they need, but also shares the absolute best gift you can give anyone who’s just given birth. And no, it doesn’t involve flowers, bunny-print onesies or even wine.
