It's pretty safe to assume that Jenny Child didn't think she'd be the CEO of Oroton when she was growing up in the Midwest of America.
Jenny grew up in Ohio, graduated from Northwestern University (Illinois), and obtained an MBA from Duke University(North Carolina).
Jenny relocated to Australia from Atlanta in 2015 while working with the Powerhouse Consultancy firm McKinsey and Company. She had a stable professional position at McKinsey & Co, steadily advancing through the corporate ranks to become a partner in the Sydney office.
But in 2021, Jenny took a leap of faith and decided to take up an offer to run an 80-year-old Australian fashion luxury brand.
Yep you're reaction was probably like mine "how the hell did that happen?"
It's an awesome story, make sure you tune in to this week's Mentor Podcast to find out how she became the boss of Oroton.
