The Runners Alliance is a solutions-based initiative from the editors of Runner's World and Women's Health in partnership with HOKA ONE ONE aimed at altering perceptions about what it means to run as a member of a community that experiences high levels of harassment, including women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and more. It's aim is to provide all runners and communities across the nation with the tools and solutions needed to stay safe on the run and advocate for their fellow runners.
In this episode we talk with Taylor Dutch and Latoya Shauntay Snell. Latoya is one of the five ambassadors for the Alliance and Taylor is helping to coordinate their efforts for Runners World. Both of these amazing women share their views on the project, the impact they hope to make long-term and short-term, and the journey that brought them to this point.
