We are so excited to debut yet another Song-i-Sode for ya! This next installation of our SONG-i-SODE series is Session #7!

Today we are talking about another one of our Practical Magic inspired original songs called "Can You Flip Pancakes?"! This song comes off the heels of our Pancake Magick & Lore episode where we explored these sweet breakfast treats throughout history as well as their place in the film and the books!

This original song poses a significant inquiry as young Antonia contemplates Gary's allure. He appears to be an ideal match for her mother, Sally Owens, embodying many qualities outlined in her mom's Amas Veritas Love Spell. However, before bestowing her blessing, Antonia implores Gary to address a crucial question: "Can You Flip Pancakes?"

The Stinas revisit their notes & lyrics and chat about how they wrote their cutest song yet! We'll be dissecting our original work verse by verse, draft by draft, and take you on the creative journey of how we wrote the song from start to finish. We'll also explore original versions of the song, scratch demos, and lyrics that just didn't make the cut. Then sit back and relax as Justina treats us to a small live performance!
