Team USA celebrates one year to the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 by inviting fans to make their mark in support of America's Olympians and Paralympians by getting custom made-to-fade tattoos that celebrate our athletes.
Olympic Runner, Colleen Quigley is On The Road to Paris as she along with several other Team USA Olympian and Paralympians are celebrated at Ephemeral Tattoo in Los Angeles, CA.
St. Louis, MO native, who competes in the Steeplechase has participated in the Rio 2016 games, placing eighth in the 3,000-Meter Steeplechase and finished Top 9 in the World Championships in the Outdoor events in 2015 and the Indoor games in 2018.
During the evening's events in Los Angeles, the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee launched its one-year countdown to the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 by inviting fans around the nation to make their mark for Team USA. Inspired by the tradition of many Olympians and Paralympians commemorating their Games experience with a tattoo, Team USA is giving fans the opportunity to take part in the ritual by giving away hundreds of custom, Team USA-inspired tattoos. Fans across the country can visit teamusa.com/roadtoparis to sign up for a chance to win their free Team USA tattoo from July 26 through Aug. 31.
Although I am not sure Quigley received one of the temporary tattoos (we know fore sure, I did not), she is excited to be apart of Team USA yet again as well being apart of a small group of the world's most elite athletes to compete in one of the Olympics foundational post sports of Track and Field.
In our interview Quigley shares her experiences as a runner and Olympian, what inspires her to compete and how she has become an inspiration to other athletes.
