We spend so much of our lives trying to fit in and make others happy. Often it can leave very little energy or space for our own art. The art that we truly want to make.
In this week’s podcast, my guest, Simone Linehan, talks about letting go of people-pleasing and embracing her love of quirky faces even though they aren’t everyone’s cup of tea.
We also talk about Sim’s long and wonderful career. From working in graphic design for thirty years to the soulful art classes she now runs for women in her backyard studio.
I’ve known Sim and admired her work and generous spirit for many years. We both live in the Adelaide hills so it was extra special to catch up and have a good chinwag!
