FROM MARK
Hey Nate and Ian,
Just catching up on TM240 and listening to you discuss live-streamed theatre and I thought you might be interested to know that at least the Globe Theatre (the one on the southbank) kinds of did this for part of their children’s programme. My kids, 6 and 9 attended a version of Romeo and Juliet back in Feb on Zoom where about 50 families called in for each live show. It was a format that was half acting and half storytelling so only had 1-2 actors but was very well done and is similar to a format of live shows they did for kids before the pandemic. It was great live and we had organised to watch it with a couple of other families each in our own homes which worked surprisingly well. It looks like they may still be doing it if you wanted to read a bit more about it https://www.shakespearesglobe.com/seasons/telling-tales-2021/
