Hal Lublin is joined by producer Julian Burrell to talk about one of the most memorable failures that WWE ever attempted: The resurrection of the ECW brand and promotion.
In 2006, a year after a successful ECW “One Night Stand” PPV, WWE decided to bring back Extreme Championship Wrestling as their third brand. First they wanted it to be a web exclusive show that Shane McMahon would be in charge of. But they eventually got Sci-Fi Network to buy in and settled on ECW, the weekly TV show.
The Three Count:
Julian put over the eternal joy of Money Plane
Hal put over the Miz’s most memorable promo.
Hosted by Hal Lublin and Julian Burrell
Produced by Julian Burrell for Maximum Fun.
The music for our new promo is provided by Incompetech.com
