Yoga, breath work, and intuitive eating are amazing tools and healing modalities to help people recover from disordered eating patterns. Over the years I have referred my patients to today's guest Julia Hollenberg, RDN, MSN ; Food and Body Therapist to guide people through this process.
Becoming connected with the body after being disembodied ; allows my patients to begin to have a healthy relationship with food and with their body.
It is quite remarkable to be witness to this process of embodiment.
I invited Julia on to talk about this process and more. We have a very heartfelt conversation about Julia's journey, the process of healing and becoming connected again to the body, and a very real and honest take on the trials and tribulations of eating recovery. I'm sure you will learn a lot from Julia ; she's one of these rare special souls that is brilliant, kind, and aligned/
Julia is hosting an upcoming retreat:
Women's Intuitive Eating and Embodiment Retreat. August 4-7, 2023 in Bend, Oregon
And we learn abou that.
