Marc, who is originally from Quebec, has been working as an immigration paralegal for two decades. One of the major advantages of being a paralegal is that he’s spent those past 20 years in the thick of each immigration file, which has given him a lot of insight into what works and what doesn’t. So as a natural entrepreneur, it got Marc thinking… “how can I integrate technology into the Canadian immigration process to automate some of it while still keeping it human-centered?” Thus, ImmiSight was born. ImmiSight is a tech-enabled immigration service that helps prepare immigration files, mostly focused on work permits and LMIAs, with a combination of chatbots, document automation, and, where it makes sense, human work.
