Breaking Atoms: The Hip Hop Podcast
Music:Music History
We've not done an episode without a special guest for a minute, but recent events have called for a tag team chinwag. Last week, Apollo Brown dropped 'Blacklight' with Stalley which is his 25th official release on Mello Music Group. Since 2010, Apollo Brown has worked with O.C., Guilty Simpson, Skyzoo, Che' Noir, Planet Asia, Raheem DeVaughn, Ras Kass, Ugly Heroes and more. It's been nearly a decade and a half since Apollo Brown first stepped on the scene. With a number of classic albums under his belt, we ask the question: is Apollo Brown now one of the all time great Hip Hop producers?
We show love to one of our favourites and salute him for his greatness.
