To many, OJ Simpson had it all. Wealth, success and fame. In the 1980s and early 1990s he had the world at his feet. But as the public learned of the former NFL player’s death on Thursday evening, only one thing came to mind. The 1994 murder of Simpson’s ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. The subsequent murder “trial of the century” became so mammoth that it changed how entertainment and news have been consumed ever since.
