The 27th Annual Highland Park Literary Festival is coming up and Renne Lokey and Amanda Morley are sharing everything you need to know.
Flick Fest kicks off February 8th at the Angelika Theater with a screening of 12 Mighty Orphans which happens to have a local story line with local actor, Luke Wilson, with a certain high school football team being mentioned!
On March 2, National Best-Selling author of The River, Peter Heller, will speak at an assembly during the school day for the students as well as in the evening for a free community event.
March 3 LitFest hosts Student Workshops with 20+ novelist, journalists, poets, songwriters and playwrights from around the country in some 75 workshops.
There’s something for everyone at this incredible LitFest and students will be highly engaged and are sure to walk away inspired and with more knowledge.
