I'm so glad I found today's guest as I was scrolling through REELS on Insta. Ellen Elizabeth is a fantastic human...just wait until you hear this conversation, y'all.
Ellen is all too familiar with the struggles of addiction, which are oftentimes unbearable. Add on the tormenting pains of infertility, and you have the perfect storm. After grappling and recovering from both, Ellen understands the gut-wrenching agony involved and never wants anyone to go through that alone.
Ellen is a 36-year-old Colorado native who is four years sober and the proud mother of twins. She lives with her family of four in Colorado Springs, CO, and currently works for a well-known defense contractor. Ellen loves animals, especially her dog Diego, as well as the multitude of outdoor activities Colorado has to offer, and is very passionate about the French language and culture.
When not working or engaging in the joys of raising twins, Ellen enjoys being a wellness influencer on social media to anyone struggling with addiction or infertility. She can be found @itsellenelizabeth and is here to support anyone struggling now, anyone who is in recovery, or family members of those struggling.
Her mission is to be a stand for women who are dealing with both the struggles and the shame that come from not feeling like they can quit drinking or not bringing a child into the world.
