The No. 7 Texas Longhorns went into the day against the BYU Cougars with questions at the quarterback position as Maalik Murphy took over for an injured Quinn Ewers.
As Murphy adjusted to the speed of the game, the defense stepped up and shut down BYU and once Murphy got his feet underneath him, the Longhorns ran away with a big win.
