Merle Saul was 55 years old when he disappeared from Douglas County, Nebraska on October 1, 2015. Merle was not reported missing until February 2016. Merle has not made contact and missed several important events in his absence. Merle's disappearance remains unsolved.
Merle is a veteran and a member of the Santee Sioux Nation. He would be 61 years old today. Merle is described as an indigenous male, 5'8"-5'10" and approximately 160 lbs with brown eyes and gray short hair. Merle is missing the tip of his nose, and has difficulty walking due to previous frostbite injuries on his feet. Merle was last seen wearing dark blue pants, a green sweatshirt and camp jacket, and a "Veterans" hat.
