A 72-year-old female presents to an Adelaide emergency department with bilateral eye pain and redness lasting several days. She has a history of hypertension, hypercholesterolemia and age-related macular degeneration for which she has received a range of medications. Anterior uveitis is identified as the proximal cause of the ocular pain but there are many possible aetiologies that require careful consideration.
