About Joan Salge Blake:
Joan Salge Blake is a Clinical Professor of Nutrition, Registered Dietitian, and past Media Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). Her areas of expertise include healthy eating, weight management, and obesity. She strives to make nutrition science easily understood by the general public via her website and on social media. She has conducted over 2,000 media interviews and is the recipient of the AND 2020 Media Excellent Award. She currently writes for US News & World Report's Eat & Run Column.
