S2 Ep9: Lucy Spraggan: Sober

In this episode, Shazza and Freddie talk to Lucy Spraggan, the fabulous alcohol-free singer-songwriter who shot to fame on the X Factor nearly ten years ago.

In every episode in Series 2, BBC broadcast journalist Sharon Hartley and Guinness World Record holder Freddie Bennett invite a different guest on to the podcast who have in some way inspired their own alcohol free journeys, from AF authors to inspirational Instagrammers.

Lucy talks about her decision to go alcohol-free and how its completely changed her life - from singing a song on the X Factor called Last Night (Beer Fear) to releasing a brilliant new single which talks about her decision to ditch the booze called Sober.

Lucy is an absolute inspiration - still in her 20s, she talks openly about her decision to go alcohol-free to her huge numbers of social media followers and is showing young people that they have the choice to decide how to live their lives, despite any social pressures that may surround them. She's open, she's honest, she's lovely - and we're delighted she spent some time with us on Over The Influence!
