Trading Journalism for Politics: A Conversation with Pulitzer Prize Winner ML Elrick

Craig's guest is longtime journalist ML Elrick, who has decided to run for Detroit City Council.  Elrick worked for the Detroit Free Press, where he won a Pulitzer prize for his stories that led to the conviction of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.  He has also worked at Fox2 Detroit, and at WDIV / Channel 4 in Detroit.   Elrick discusses why he's leaving journalist for politics, what he thinks he would bring to the table as a council member, and what he thinks of the current state of the city.
