Jesus took Peter, James and John, and he led them up a high mountain apart by themselves, and he was transfigured before them.
The Transfiguration on Mount Tabor was a preparation for that other mountain, Mount Calvary, Golgotha. Jesus calls upon us to become another Christ, to embrace the Cross. A meditation by Father Thomas Bohlin.
