Juita Martinez is a Ph.D. student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She uses camera traps to study brown pelicans in Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico! Juita was nervous to get on the mic, but she’s a natural! Her energy and contagious laugh made this episode an absolute blast.
We talk fieldwork mishaps, camera traps, and how you can start exploring the outdoors yourself!
