Vor 200 Jahren wurde Jakob Offenbach am 20. Juni in Köln geboren. Von Paris aus machte er sich als Jacques Offenbach einen Namen als berühmter Bühnenkomponist und gefeierter Cellist. Zu seinem runden Geburtstag hat ihm jetzt die junge Cellistin Raphaela Gromes ihr neues Album mit wenig bekannter Kammermusik gewidmet. Erschienen ist es bei Sony Classical.
