Professor Devi Sridhar is a public health researcher, author and professor and chair of Global Public Health at the University of Edinburgh. She burst onto our screens during the pandemic and became one of the ‘go to’ people when it came to looking for information about tackling the pandemic. Today, Devi and Alice discuss the difficulty that she faced during the pandemic with online trolling and what inspired her to enter this industry in the first place. Devi also opens up with how tricky it can be being a woman in the public health industry and how she has always looked up to women in the industry and encouraged creating networks for women.
