Arguably, after the engagement, the bride’s parents take on the bulk of the responsibilities after the couple. Nevertheless, both sets of parents need to sit down with the couple and find out what is expected of each. They will undoubtedly help guide you throughout your wedding journey. Fundamentally, the roles of the parents have changed and today's couples take a more casual approach. Traditionally, the parents of the bride as the hosts of the wedding reception and the parents of the groom are hosts of the rehearsal dinner. Therefore, having clear and concise responsibilities and keeping open communication is a vital component to making your wedding unique and stress free.
