Classic Musicals From The Golden Age of Radio
Music:Music History
Let’s travel to France for a “Cyrano” celebration on WPMT today! With book and lyrics by Anthony Burgess and music by Michael J. Lewis, the Broadway musical “Cyrano” starring Christopher Plummer was based on Edmond Rostand's classic 1897 play which was also presented on a 1947 Theater Guild of the Air broadcast starring Fredric March. Both productions are featured as part of today’s broadcast. Available now on all major listening platforms. Happy listening and “à bientôt” until we return June 6!
