It’s not often you find a neuroscientist studying fear who growing up, also fought in the streets and trained and competed in combat sports. That’s what makes Andrew Huberman’s story and message amazing and even more credible to me! I’m fascinated by the mind and the brain and especially its connection to fear. I read what I can to make sure our method is consistent with modern principles of neuroscience. Unfortunately so much content online is often pedantic and academic making it hard to relate to. Enter Andrew Huberman, Ph.D., Professor of Neurobiology and Director of his own lab at Stanford School of Medicine where he works on brain mechanisms of fear and anxiety and neural regeneration. Mr. Huberman is not your typical professor A) because of his background and B) because he is able to convey complex ideas in ways “we” can all understand.
Meet Andrew Huberman.
