Prior to COVID, Chase Price was a gym rat who hated to run. But after putting in some time and targeting a few half marathons, he decided to "do something crazy" and set a personal goal of finishing a 100 Mile race. And boy, did he! Chase blazed through his first 100 miler at Blackbeard's Revenge, finishing in 16 hours and 17 minutes, claiming 2nd overall. He then went on to set a marathon PR of 2:44 only a few months before becoming one of only 6 people to have ever finished the Uwharrie 100 in under 24 hours, good enough for 1st place in 2023.
