African Communities: An Online Symposium Focusing on Africa

Our guest is Dr. Mounia Mnouer. Mounia is an independent scholar who works on matters of North African indigeneity, decolonization, social justice education and is the organizer for the free online symposium, African Communities: Heritage, Identities, Languages and Arts., which will take place November 7-November 8, 2020 (8A.M.-2P.M. Arizona Time). "The goal of the symposium is to create a cross-cultural international space where African heritage stories and expressions are valued and where interdisciplinary dialogue and reflection can take place between Africans, those of African descent, and our allies."
