Take Your Time: Persona 5 Strikers Episode 11: August 24 - 28

Welcome to Take Your Time, a Persona 5 podcast by Jonathon Dornbush and Tom Marks in which the duo will be playing Persona 5 Strikers in sort of real time, but not quite as in real time as our Persona 5 Royal playthrough. Tom and Jonathon continue their P5 Strikers podcast series with episode 11, focused on August 24-28, which seems to bring Persona 5 Strikers to its conclusion...or so Jonathon thought!

After answering Tom's pop quiz question from last week and reading some viewer comments, Jonathon and Tom dig into the events of and surrounding the Konoe Jail, which Persona 5 Strikers builds up as the Phantom Thieves' biggest challenge yet. Tom and Jonathon explore what is and isn't different about the leadup to the Jail, new Request types P5 Strikers offers, and more, before jumping into the Jail itself. The duo examines the aesthetic, the combat, and puzzle design of the Jail, as well as its climactic boss fight, before jumping into the massive story revelations of this portion of Persona 5 Strikers. We discuss what it means for the Phantom Thieves, EMMA, their nemesis, and, uh... what else there my be left to do! (Don't worry, there are no spoilers - just Jonathon hypothesizing.)
