Into the Impossible With Brian Keating
Science:Natural Sciences
Chaotic eternal inflation is a theory where the universe may be free of a cosmological initial singularity, potentially eternal and time-symmetric, with initial conditions provided by spacetime noncommutativity and a landscape model, but not necessarily eternal into the past and possibly leading to a finite, smooth multiverse.
The episode is about Andrei’s career, the big problems in cosmology, and how Andrei invented eternal inflation. Eternal inflation is a theory that states that the universe is constantly inflating, and that new universes are constantly being created.
Linde is a charismatic speaker. However, it is important to note that the theory of eternal inflation is still a somewhat controversial theory. There is no consensus among physicists about whether or not it is correct. See my videos with Neil Turok and Anna Ijjas for more
