This short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald has been recorded unabridged in order to maintain the true essence of Fitzgerald's farcical black humor. However, the sheer idiocy of the plot is brought into question, particularly when considering the author's previous fine works. In fact, there are so many story inadequacies, we can only wonder why it was written, and why it was chosen to be a Hollywood movie in 2008, starring Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, and Tilda Swinton. Even more astounding is the fact that it won 13 Oscar nominations. Written 100 years ago exactly, we present it in its original story form. Enjoy.
