Skunk Anansie is a British rock band that shot to fame in the ‘90s, and from day one, all everyone could talk about was the striking lead singer, Skin, AKA Deborah Ann Dyer.
While I knew Skin had to be in this ‘90s series, I initially thought that I would be more focused on her more edgy makeup looks, like black lipstick and liner, but recently I saw the video for one of their hits, Hedonism (Just Because You Feel Good) and I was blown away by a really pretty, ethereal take on ‘90s makeup. It’s not something you see much of when you examine the music videos of that decade, so I really wanted to include it in the series.
I’d love to know what you think too! Have you been enjoying this series?
