Following Jesus requires doing difficult things. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses what it means to push past what’s comfortable and convenient so we can deliver the truth of the gospel to the people around us. He offers examples from the life of John the Baptist and Jesus—both suffered mocking, rejection, and death because they told the truth, but they remained faithful to their assignments. Pastor Allen encourages us to choose to “do difficult,” using our lives to bring God’s light and truth into our culture. Our obedience and intentionality today will lead to a more promising and God-honoring future for ourselves and our children.
