This week, the Truly Co Podcast host Lindsay May talks with artist Tasha Branham, a New Jersey-based prophet, mentor, business consultant, mother, and wife. Truly features custom artwork in each magazine issue to facilitate more profound thoughts about each article we publish.
In this episode, Tasha talks about her journey as an artist and her inspiration in creating those pieces. Much of her inspiration comes from the scriptures--it helps her have a greater appreciation for God and His word. She leans in to the Holy Spirit to help overcome creative blocks, and will encourage listeners to explore their creative spirits.
Tasha's acrylic and pen on canvas artwork is featured in Truly Magazine's Intentionality issue, titled "Never Let Go." Listen to hear about the journey God brought her through in creating and sending this piece to The Truly Co.
Tasha believes that EVERYONE is creative: we are all created in the image and likeness of God, who is the Creator. We are creatives. Art does not encompass all creativity. It's a branch of creativity. Creativity can be how you solve problems or innovate to make something work. It's in how accountants crunch numbers or how attorneys find loopholes and defend their clients. It's everywhere, and we all have it.
