Ivana Stradner - May 6, 2024

We were honoured to welcome our very special guest Ivana Stradner (@IvanaStradner on Twitter / X).

Dr. Stradner serves as a research fellow and advisor to FDD. She studies russia's security strategies and military doctrines to understand how russia uses information operations for strategic communication and influence. Her work examines both the psychological and technical aspects of russian hybrid warfare. Her focus is on international law, national security (cyberspace and information warfare), and US-European relations. She is a scholar, author, lecturer, and a special correspondent.

We were able to listen to and discuss topics like security, escalation, russian rhetorics. Ivan provided insights on how to understand russia’s threads and put the situation into perspective for the international audience. She addressed developments in various countries, questions of nationality, culture, ethnicity, providing insights into the unfolding dynamics of these.
