For eight years a mercenary group has been operating in Syria, Ukraine, and—most recently—Africa. It’s the Wagner Group, a Russian mercenary outfit run by a man known as ‘Putin’s Chef.’ Seriously.
Their body count is high, especially in the Central African Republic where they’ve operated with near-impunity for months.
