Photos of the coffee spill!
Welcome to the 31st episode of the fifth season of The Chris Abraham Show. In this episode, Chris shares his thoughts and experiences while walking with his 43-pound Go Ruck GR 1.26 liter.
The episode begins with an unfortunate incident involving Chris's thermos, where he realizes the importance of a canteen with a regular lid rather than a drinking lid. The mishap leads to a drenched journey, but it doesn't deter his spirits as he embarks on an interesting discussion.
Chris dives into his reasons for periodically visiting rt.com and sputnikglobal.com and sharing the counter messaging coming out of Russia. He presents his perspective on testing the tyranny of censorship and shares his concern about the common inability to understand nuances, trolling, or snarking. He underlines his belief that we are living in tyrannical times, with a rise in autocratic and censoring tendencies, not just abroad but domestically as well.
Continuing his journey, Chris reflects on the coffee incident and discusses the aftermath of having to let his gear dry out. He expresses his gratitude for not taking his coffee with milk or sugar, which he attributes to saving him from a stickier situation.
In the latter part of the episode, Chris changes topics, sharing his experience in Germany. He discusses societal norms and behaviors that he encountered, particularly the intense societal control. He speaks about how not just law enforcement, but citizens themselves, chastise those who cross against the light or step out of line, especially in front of children.
Drawing parallels between the societal control he observed in Germany and historical events, he paints a picture of a society hyper-aware of its rules and the shared responsibility to enforce them.
Remember to tune in next time for more deep dives into Chris's thoughts, experiences, and musings.
