Podcasting with Purpose for Life Coaches
Education:How To
TO HAVE FUN! ... to share your quirkiness, your messiness, your every day person-ness! Embrace your inner peacock. When you have fun every step of the way, you get to make this your passion project, and you get to show up and be the coach you want to be right now!
A podcast is not the thing you "should" do because you heard someone who is successful say you should.
That will ensure your podfadery. (AKA - your podcast fades away)
You start with your passion and your message.
I talk to so many of you sharing your excitement about what your vision is, your message, and the belief that you can in fact move minds with your message ... and doing it all behind your microphone.
Then, self-sabotage creeps in.
You sit with your topic list, not knowing where to start, or ... you get lost in thinking you need to get all kinds of crazy equipment, editing software, and pick the RIGHT Name.
You get lost in the details, and then believe the thought ... "I'm not good enough, I don't know enough. So you stall, sabotage. Procrastinate, convince yourself you need more self-coaching, and you need to journal it out.
Start with the self-sabotaging thoughts, knowing they are the default when we start something that is unknown, and just start where you are, embracing your messy and press the button. Then excitement grows.
Get behind the mic anyway.
Have a love-affair with the spoken word.
Be like the child at play who loses themself in the playing.
Be you- be the peacock. Unfurl your beautiful feathers.
Now go be a podcaster.
