36: Tips for General Ed Teachers - Always Fun with a Teacher’s Point of View

Have you ever wanted to get the view from a general education teacher on how SLPs and other special service providers in the school can support them? Me too. It’s always a good idea to bring the two groups together so you can work as a team. 

 

In this episode, we are lucky enough to get a fresh perspective from my first guest that is NOT an SLP or special educator, Gretchen Bridgers from Always a Lesson. 

 

Gretchen is a general education teacher of 8 years and was a Teacher of the Year runner-up two years in a row. With years of mentoring new teachers, providing professional development to school building staff, and speaking nationally at conferences and in-services, Gretchen has now invested her time solely to consulting individual teachers and school staff.
