Australia’s plan to phase out harmful industrial chemicals

Australia has officially banned three toxic 'forever' chemicals, starting today. Found in non-stick cookware, plastic containers, and waterproof fabrics, the chemicals must now be replaced in new products. Older stock can still be sold, but experts warn imported goods could remain a risk without tighter controls.
