Liberty Ballers: for Philadelphia 76ers fans
Sports:Basketball
The Philadelphia 76ers have dispatched of the Brooklyn Nets in (not so) dramatic fashion sweeping them after their 96-88 victory in Brooklyn on Saturday afternoon.
The big news going into round two (likely) against the Boston Celtics is the same as it usually is this time of year: the health of one Joel Hans Embiid. We're in the torture chamber, again, Sixers fans. Embiid has an LCL sprain in his knee which is a one to two week recovery, so his availability against the Celtics is looking doubtful for game one on Saturday (if the Celtics close out Atlanta tomorrow night).
All is not doom for the Sixers, however. Tyrese Maxey played like he's absolutely ready for this moment. Tobias Harris has looked good (in round one, anyway). Is James Harden ever going to look like the Harden that was getting All-NBA consideration just a few months ago? Those are the questions headed into round two as we break it down early in the week before any round two games are even scheduled.
